Arms and legs pushing to make you glide elegantly along the tracks at the foot of the Dolomites. A day to be enjoyed for a maximum of energy. Cross-country skiing is an elegant and healthy sport, relatively easy to learn at any age and not boring at all.

Culture and customs A proud and welcoming land

4

Bëgnodüs, welcome to the land of the Ladin people

The Ladin language, is the root of everything. It is an ancient language and yet so modern in its interculturalism. And that's how the Ladin people are: they are cosmopolitan, happy to get to know other cultures and to exchange ideas with them but without losing their awareness of their roots. In Alta Badia you will meet people who are happy to share their valley with you in an intimate and authentic way.

TobogganingLots of fun for all ages

5

Like being in a winter tale

Snow-white peaks, fir and larch forests and sunburnt mountain huts - it's a bit like being in a winter tale. While some of the toboggan runs can be reached by the Alta Badia ski lifts, for others the ascent is done in the traditional way: by walking and dragging the sledge. As an alternative to a day of skiing or as an activity to enjoy with the family, fun is guaranteed.
