active holiday

"A jewel in the Dolomites", peaceful, with everything you need to spend a wonderful holiday. In summer, Arabba is the ideal starting point to immerse yourself in the heart of the Dolomites: reassuring pastures and gentle slopes allow regenerating walks and peaceful excursions in the name of nature and silence. Always surrounded by a breathtaking panorama, among irregular spires and majestic walls, where, moreover, countless high altitude itineraries and vie ferrate are designed for hikers and mountaineers. For cycling enthusiasts, on the other hand, Arabba offers the great climbs of the Giro d'Italia, around the Sella Group; and also the possibility of getting into the mountains, thanks to the many off-road tracks served by the lifts.

Trekking & Hiking spoilt for choice

The ideal place for trekking and mountaineering enthusiasts, a perfect "base camp" to reach some of the most evocative corners of the Dolomites, a Unesco heritage site.

From the village there are dozens of kilometres of footpaths that allow an almost infinite range of excursions: from trips through the woods on the valley floor, suitable for families with children, to rewarding high altitude trekking.

MTB on the Sellaronda MTB Tour routes

Great emotions are also guaranteed for those who love MTB cycling: in Arabba mountain bike lovers have an almost infinite range of routes and single trails, GPX tracks, at their disposal.

The most gratifying experience is the Sellaronda MTB Tour, the tour around the Sella Massif, which can be cycled clockwise or anticlockwise.

Cycling: on the roads of the legend

Arabba offers pedalling of great personal satisfaction. One above all: the ascent to the Coppi Monument on Pordoi. Or, the challenge to the "monster", the nasty ramps of the Giau, starting from Arabba in the direction of Colle Santa Lucia.

Return via Falzarego or, for the more experienced, via Campolongo, after having done the Valparola. In short, a pedal paradise.
