For over ten years, as soon as winter gives way to the warmer seasons, the Dolomiti Superski skiing destination transforms into an outdoor paradise – Dolomiti Supersummer. The summer season in the mountains is one-of-a-kind thanks to the strategically placed lift facilities, allowing everyone to experience the mountains in summer up close, easily and quickly. Over 120 lift facilities will open this season across the 12 Dolomites’ valleys.
You can experience the Dolomites in summer in one of two ways: the Dolomiti Bike Galaxy is a one-stop-shop for everything mountain biking, while the Dolomiti Hike Galaxy is a veritable universe waiting to be explored on foot. Both options make the most of the lift facilities to quickly reach the summits.
If you love cycling and want to explore the Dolomites on two wheels, then the Dolomiti Bike Galaxy was made for you. The network boasts 3,000 km2 of mountain landscapes, over 400 km of mountain bike paths and over 24,000 hm! A varied offer which will meet the demands of everyone, from cycling beginners to seasoned pros.
The best thing about the offer? Simply hop on one of the 120 lift facilities to reach the top of the mountains and bring your bike along!
All 12 Dolomiti Supersummer destinations feature infrastructure for all cyclists, whatever the discipline: fully-equipped bike park, adrenaline-inducing downhill trails, exciting freeride flows, enduro circuits – even crossing different valleys! – panoramic tours even for less experienced cyclists who still want to bask in the beauty of nature on their bike. Even younger cyclists are well-catered for with pump tracks and skills park allowing them to take the first steps in the world of mountain biking.
Many locations boast fully-equipped centres – veritable MTB academies– whose expert bikers will create (multi)day guided excursions, beginner and expert cycling technique refreshers and courses. Those very same cyclists, more often than not, have set up and created dedicated MTB parks and trails. For those longer excursions, nobody expects you to sleep out in the wild: there are huts peppered along the busier paths in the mountains: an ideal sleeping solution, with some even offering the chance to recharge your e-MTB.
