Three provinces and a shared passion for good cuisine

Dolomiti Superski encompasses the provinces of South Tyrol, Trentino and Belluno. All three love their cuisine and, while each of them has its own approach to local flavours, they all share a penchant for good food. The differences between them are what make their flavours so special.

Flavours you cannot miss

Tips for Dolomite cuisine
  • All-round delights: the local dumplings are made of bread, flour, and egg. Order your preferred variant – with Speck, cheese, mushrooms, spinach or beetroot.
  • North Italian classics: there’s nothing like a plate of creamy polenta with regional sausage and cheeses or mushrooms to warm the heart.
  • Elegant enjoyment: turtres are made of thin dough discs filled with spinach and quark cheese before being sealed and fried. When fried, they’re crispy, soft, and utterly irresistible!
  • Filled with joy: cauinziei, Schlutzkrapfen and more – just some of the names we give to half-moon ravioli found all throughout the Dolomites. They’re filled with ricotta, beetroot, spinach, and other seasonal products.
  • Divine desserts: Kaiserschmarrn pancakes with marmalade or compote is a popular dessert – or a main course, if you’ve got sweet tooth!
