Two routes – one destination: Dolomiti Superski
The A22 – the Brennero motorway.
Note: This is a toll road. Motorways in both Italy and Austria charge a toll.
Over the Felbertauern and through Lienz in East Tyrol (Austria)
Cross the Austrian-Italian border on the state motorway B100-E66. This route is a great way to get here from southern Germany, over Felbertauernstraße. Good to know: This route doesn’t require you to have an Austrian motorway toll vignette.
Note: In the Dolomites, vehicles must have winter tyres fitted or have snow chains between mid-November and mid-April.

Note: If travelling to Dolomiti Superski from the north, you should keep in mind that reconstruction work is ongoing on the Lueg Bridge (Tyrol, Austria) which may lead to delays. You can find out how the traffic is right now here.

A relaxing train journey
After travelling from one of the German-speaking countries by DB, ÖBB or SBB train, you can make your way into the Dolomites with Südtiroler Bahn and Trenitalia – easy and eco-friendly!
Note: Until 26 January 2026 (provisionally), the Val Pusteria trainline between Franzensfeste and Bruneck is closed. Replacement buses will run instead. You can find more information here .

From the clouds to the peaks
It takes less than three hours to get to Bolzano from London (England), Antwerp (Belgium), Copenhagen and Billund (Denmark), Hamburg, Berlin or Dusseldorf (Germany) with Sky Alps airlines . There are many more airports within easy reach of the Dolomiti Superski destination, too.

Sit back and travel in comfort
Skis and suitcase in the luggage compartment, and off we go! There are lots of bus, coach, and shuttle connections between wherever you’re starting from, or the local airport of your choice, straight to the Dolomites.
Tip: Lots of routes lead to the Dolomites. Munich is a particular travel hub, with lots of direct coaches to South Tyrol.
