Safety on the go

Five tips for making sure you’re safe when on two wheels

To experience the Dolomites by bike or e-bike is to experience pure nature. It’s an honour that comes with some responsibilities. Be prepared, and be respectful:

  1. Plan your excursion well: check the weather and road conditions, and be realistic about your own skills
  2. Only use marked routes
  3. Do not disturb nature and treat grazing animals with respect
  4. Take your rubbish with you
  5. Slow down in plenty of time and let hikers know you’re there as soon as you can
