Leave the mountain station of Pian del Crep cable lift behind you and make your way to the S’un Paradis refuge. Walk towards Casera Grava to find your next path in Pian del Tolp: a military mule track which will take you to Spiz Zuel (2,033 metres) where you’ll find firt world war walking galleries and outposts. Not only will you get to take in a beautiful dolomitic view: this is also a unique chance to learn about a fascinating part of history and the Italian defence located between Cadore and Agordino. The mule track is well preserved and looks just like it did back in 1916, its cobblestones not showing the wear of time and there is also a beautiful fountain located at 1,954 metres.
