Pecol (Val di Zoldo) - Col dei Baldi

Description

From the parking in Piazza Rodolfo Balestra at Pecol, follow the path that runs along the Civetta campsite up to the start of the chairlift. Ascent with the Coste chairlift which takes us to the dirt road climbing from Palafavera towards Malga Pioda. From the chairlift arrival, follow the dirt road climbing to the left up to Malga Pioda, from here on a path crossing a beautiful meadow you reach the dirt road leading to Col dei Baldi. Already from Malga Pioda you can glimpse the destination of this route, which is also the arrival point of the cable car climbing from Piani di Pezzè (Alleghe side). At Col dei Baldi, there is an excellent mountain hut with a spectacular view of the north face of Monte Civetta as well as a 360° view of the Dolomite peaks.
