Description
From St. Zyprian, the Tiers Aerial Cableway, first open-top cable car in South Tyrol, will take you to the Frommeralm mountain pasture, in the heart of King Laurin’s realm. From here, trails no. 15 and 7 lead along a view-packed route (Rosengarten massif, Latemar mountain and the Ortler massif) to the Haniger Schwaige mountain hut. The descent takes you past the Plafötsch mountain hut and back to St. Zyprian/Tiers.
You can also get to the Haniger Schwaige mountain hut in 1 h 20 min starting at curve 8 on the trail in direction Nigerpass/Passo Nigra and following trail no. 7A.
Refreshment stop along the hiking trail. Not pram-friendly.

Details
This hike leads you to the foot of the Rosengarten massif in close proximity to the famed Vajolet Towers and on to the Haniger Schwaige mountain hut. The descent leads over vast mountain meadows and beautiful woodland down to the Plafötsch mountain hut and St. Zyprian in Tiers.
