The starting point of this interval mountain bike route is Arabba. Take the DMC cable car up to Porta Vescovo, then head to Passo Padon. Continue along trail marker 636, which leads through a first rideable section with some pushing sections, above the Crepe Rosse. Once past this climb, you finally enter the descent. Ride down through the meadows, following a technical but safe trail, to reach the Crepe Rosse Pass. Here turn left, taking the descent to Val Rosa (marked as Davedino), which is challenging until a mountain hut with a fountain. From there, the route becomes a comfortable path, first grassy then dirt, passing under the impressive rock overhangs of Sass da Rocia, crossing the picturesque village of Ronch di Laste, quickly winding through the forest to the inhabited center of Caprile, from where you take the cycle-pedestrian path to reach Lake Alleghe and finally the departure of the cable car that goes up to Piani di Pezze. Along the way, you can enjoy stunning views of Sella, Marmolada, Civetta, and Pelmo.
