The AIR of the Dolomites

The air is cleaner, drier and contains fewer allergens than in lower-lying areas.
Scientific studies show that spending time at higher altitudes supports the body's natural adaptation processes and has long been recognised as an important element of alpine climate therapy.
In this alpine environment, larch and Swiss pine forests also contribute to the unique quality of the air. They naturally release aromatic natural compounds, known as phytoncides, which are studied in connection with relaxation, well-being and the perception of stress.
But there is also something that goes beyond science.
There is the feeling of taking a deep breath after reaching higher ground. The wind moving across the ridgelines. The fresh air flowing through the trees. And the sense of lightness that comes when breathing feels freer and more natural.
In the Dolomites, every breath becomes part of the experience.
