My great-grandparents would move the cows from the village to the Maso Ganzaie as spring advanced, where they would stay until almost October.
And it is there that our small hotel is now located, at the edge of an ancient forest and at the crossroads of many scenic walks (in some periods rich in mushrooms as well). It is thus possible to combine complete immersion in nature with the comforts and cultural/sports events that enliven our towns.

Space, nature, and light: the comfort of the mountains, immersed in the forest
Just 1.5 km from the village center, completely surrounded by the silence of nature, our new rooms offer a unique retreat: no other buildings nearby, only larches, firs, and cirmoli that scent the air and provide a sense of peace. We have brought the forest indoors as well, choosing local wood and relying on the craftsmanship of artisans from Val di Fiemme. The result is spacious, bright, welcoming environments, where the warmth of wood combines with the authentic beauty of the mountains. With 45 sq m spread over two levels, each room offers space and comfort for families and friends. The living area with a sofa bed is separate from the sleeping area, ensuring the right amount of privacy even on vacation. All enhanced by a panoramic balcony with views of the valley and the Lagorai mountain range, a private bathroom, and free Wi-Fi.
Here the air is pure, light fills every corner, and the forest takes care of you.

Check in: the room will be available after 1:00 PM,
Check out: the room must be vacated by 10:00 AM, possible late check out until 6:00 PM at a cost of 20.00 euros subject to availability.
From the Brennero/Modena motorway (A22) exit at Egna/Ora; follow the State Road of the Dolomites (SS48) towards Cavalese. Then continue towards Daiano and follow the signs for “Hotel Ganzaie”
From the Venice/Ponte delle Alpi motorway (A27) take the Belluno exit and follow the signs for Agordo (S.S.203). Then continue towards Falcade, passing the beautiful S.Pellegrino Pass (S.S.346), until Moena. Take the new bypass towards Predazzo and follow to Cavalese. Then continue towards Daiano and follow the signs for “Hotel Ganzaie”
Train:
You can reach the Egna/Ora station directly, from which buses regularly depart for Cavalese. A shuttle service is available upon request.
