SANDRO PERTINI
- Alpine Hut
- Campitello di Fassa
The Rifugio Sandro Pertini is an essential stopping off point for the many hikers who follow the Friedrich August path in the summer. Built in the late eighties, right by the path and by a gigantic boulder on which children can test their climbing skills, the refuge gets it name from the former President of the Italian Republic who loved walking along these paths. Order a plate of polenta with mushrooms and venison, let the children have fun on the zip wire and enjoy the view that stretches from the Marmolada to the Catinaccio. Open From 20 June to 20 September Before leaving for your hike, always contact the manager to verify the actual opening of the mountain hut Walks The refuge is on the easy Friedrich August path, which from here runs to the Rifugio Sasso Piatto, a walk of about 50 minutes. Continuing, you can do the entire Sassopiatto and Sassolungo circular route (5 hours, difficulty E).
