In winter, the location is ideal, as the ski bus (in addition to the regular buses) stops 50 metres from the house and takes you for free (using the free tickets provided at check-in) to the Dolomiti Superski lifts, such as the Seceda and Rasciesa cable cars. Buses run at a variable frequency of one every 10-20 minutes. In summer the proximity of the bus stop and the centre (10 minutes on foot - approx. 600 metres), with the Luis Trenker promenade and the ski lifts, is particularly advantageous. You will find a bakery 50 metres from the house, where you can also buy a range of other groceries. The greengrocer is 150 metres from the house, and for the rest you will find everything in the centre of Ortisei.
