As of 1 January 2022, everyone skiing in Italy must hold liability insurance which covers damages to third parties. The insurance isn’t included with your Skipass and you can take out insurance only online.

SPORT INSURANCE MULTISPORT: The only policy for all sports, worldwide, from one day to one year

Multisport is the only insurance that protects you and those around you (RC) while you play any sport. You can buy it for a day, a week, a month or a year, even in a "whole family" version.
It costs the same as a ski policy but insures you for all sports.

Yes. The law requires that all skiers using the ski slopes, regardless of their age, need to have and display valid insurance covering their liability for damage or injury caused to third parties.

The law stipulates that the police can carry out checks on the actual possession of insurance cover. If the skier is not in possession of insurance, he risks a fine of € 100.00 to € 150.00, in addition to having his skipass confiscated.

No, a refund by Dolomiti Superski is only possible if there is no insurance cover.
