On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Seiser Alm Aerial Cableway, the roundtrip is free of charge.

When the Seiser Alm aerial cableway first began running on 15 August 1993, the inauguration festivities marked an event which had been preceded by decades of debate. Over the course of the intervening years, the cable car has gone on to become the central pillar of the Seiser Alm Dolomites mobility services and has proven to be a resounding success: Nowadays, rather than enduring the interminable traffic jams of the Seiser Alm of bygone years, locals and holidaymakers can hop onto the cable car in Seis am Schlern and soar up to Compatsch, in the heart of the Seiser Alm, in just 20 minutes.

The 20th anniversary of the Seiser Alm aerial cableway is the perfect occasion to reiterate the necessity for, and the advantages of, soft mobility; leaving our cars in the garage brings the dual benefits of convenience and environmental protection. The beautiful villages in the Seiser Alm Dolomites, the breathtaking landscape and the spectacular natural beauty of the Seiser Alm deserve our care.
