Around the local mountain dairies

Sasso Piatto, Secine, Jumela, Vael, Contrin. These are the mountain dairies in Val di Fassa that from mid-June to mid-September open their stables, laboratories, kitchens and pastures to the visitors. Twice a week it is possible to take part in "Around the mountain dairies", the successful initiative of Val di Fassa Tourist Board that has become more and more appreciated by adults and children. By the farms at altitude, in several locations of the valley, you can get in touch with life at altitude, cows, goats, donkeys and horses, witness the milking and the production of excellent dairy products. Not only, you can even taste genuine food, such as joghurt, cheeses and salami that, through the slopes and the rocks of the Dolomites, gain even more flavour.
