Tschafonhütte

The family-run Refuge Schutzhuas - Tschafon with restaurant and rooms between the Alpe di Siusi, the imposing Schlern and the legendary Rosengarten. The rustic hut is located at 1.737 m in the middle of a meadow, surrounded by spruces and larch trees. For more than 60 years, the Tschafon mountain shelter has been lovingly managed by our family and has become popular and well-known for its good food and personal care. Our guests not only enjoy the breathtaking panorama view of the surrounding mountain peaks of the Rosengarten, the Vajolet towers, the Schlern massif and the Latemar, but also the delicious dishes of the South Tyrolean cuisine, which we refine with fresh herbs. All the salads grow in our own vegetable garden behind the house and we gather the wild herbs, berries, mushrooms, etc. in the surrounding nature. After admiring the legendary alpine glow of King Laurins Rosengarten, you can enjoy the romantic hut charm by candlelight in our simple rooms, take pleasure in the silence of nature with breathtaking mountains and finally come to rest.
