Film Location Seiser Alm

The breathtaking landscape of the Alpe di Siusi has been a popular film-shoot location for decades. The most famous production to have been filmed here, "The Fearless Vampire Killers" (1967), transformed the moonlit Dolomite peaks of the Sassolungo and the Sassopiatto into a realm of eerie mystery.

Other productions in the Alpe di Siusi holiday area include the feature films “Honig im Kopf” (2014), “Luis Trenker – Der schmale Grat der Wahrheit” (2015) and “La befana vien di notte” (premiering in 2019) the TV series “Donna Leon – Auf Treu und Glauben”(2013) and the Italian TV show “MasterChef” (2016).
