Trevalli: Skitour of emotions
Experience a “Tour of Emotions” in the famous ski resort Tre Valli with the villages Moena, Lusia, Passo San Pellegrino and Falcade where exciting views of the Dolomite peaks will follow one another. The tour leads through the natural park of Paneveggio, where on skis you will pass close to traditional wooden huts (known as Tabià) and numerous chalets and ski bars, ideal to enjoy a rest.
You can begin the tour in Moena-Ronchi/Alpe Lusia, Passo San Pellegrino, Falcade or Bellamonte. If you choose to start from Falcade, two fast chairlifts will take you to the Plateu, then you will come down to the Pian della Sussistenza and a modern chairlift will take you up to the Laresei where you can take a break, try some of the local delicacies and enjoy the views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks.
On your way down to the next lift that will take you to Col Margherita, you will, at an altitude of 2,514 m, have a 360° view of the most impressive landscapes of the entire Monti Pallidi area. From this privileged location you will be able to see the Civetta and the Pelmo peaks, the south side of the Marmolada, the mountain chain of the Catinaccio with the Vajolet towers, the Monzoni group and many other summits of the Val di Fassa.
After a breathtaking downhill on the slope that for several years now has been the end of season host for the famous Giant Slalom (‘Gigantissimo’) of the Tre Valli, you will reach the San Pellegrino pass, paradise for families and for beginners. Here you can either ski down on the exciting Cima Uomo slope or take the new chairlift Costabella and descend on the Monzoni slopes.
A free skibus will take you in 15 minutes to the starting point in Moena-Ronchi/Alpe Lusia; from here with two fast lift facilities you will reach the ‘Cune’ at 2,210 metres, with fantastic, technically challenging slopes such as the Direttissima, the Lastè, the Mediolanum. There is also a great snowpark and boarder cross, for those who like strong emotions on the board or skis.
After the downhill to Campo, you can continue along a gentle skiway that will take you, amongst huts and chalets, to Castellir di Bellamente, where another free skibus will take you in approximately 20 minutes to the Valles pass. From here you will descend for approximately 7 km on the famous slope of the ‘Lovers’, taking in once again all the natural beauty of the landscape surrounding you.
