... and a skier's dream becomes reality. With sunshine on 8 out of 10 days, there is always enough light to ensure splendid views of a snowy mountain landscape. In the words of famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner they are "...the most beautiful mountains in the world". Towering rocks rising up to 3,342 metres turn every slope on the adjoining terraced descents into a perfect panoramic run. These are runs at an altitude of 1,500 to 3,269 meters, with 1,100 kilometres of slopes (out of 1,200) being snowable, so that there is almost 100% guaranteed snow. Perfect slopes, freshly prepared each day by no fewer than 300 trail groomers. Together with 450 lifts they ensure that no skier's dream remains unfulfilled.
