In all 12 of the Dolomiti Superski areas there are ample spaces of super fresh snow for ‘off piste’ skiing. Famous are Val Mezdì, the gullies of Pordoi, il Cristallo, and Val Chedul. Monitoring of the weather forecast and avalanche warnings and ensuring that you are always carrying recommended safety equipment and wherever possible that you are accompanied by an export alpine guide are the basic rules we all need to follow. And remember too that for safety reasons freeriding is out of bounds near to slopes, in National Parks and when there is risk of avalanche. Enjoy in tranquility!
