Strong in the knowledge of the strength of tradition we have we look confidently and without fear to the future. The characteristic mountain villages have maintained something of the romance linked to a heritage undeniably linked with German heritage. In this definition of we as mountain folk is to add that the recognisable rural graft we have is somewhat softened by a touch of Mediterranean ‘allegria’ and in a way a certain style and dignity comes from our association with the Hapsburg Empire.
