The beauty and the geological diversity, the botany, and the landscape itself were decisive in the international commission of experts of UNESCO to declare in 2009 the Dolomites as a World Natural Heritage site. The spectacular massifs of ours mountains came to life more than 250 million years ago, first as a sea coral in the Tetide sea. Today we proudly admire the fruits of what water, wind, and ice have been able to produce. You too are welcome to come and witness our incredible natural phenomena!
